In January 2011 more than 300 municipalities have implemented the local Reference Index system MULTIsignal and make use of the VIR. This results in more than 140.000 reports and approximately 45,000 matches, of which more than one-third at a provincial or national level. For the VIR € 0.8 million is available in 2011, for among other things the extension of the VIR.
